Data security
As a provider of archiving solutions, the security of your data is our top priority. All data are stored redundant and are interconnected via GBit networks. Our two data centers meet all current legal requirements and are ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certified.
Requirements
In order to ensure the quality of data, we assume that the modalities via DICOM Modality Worklist are connected to the local RIS system, or through adequate solutions such as gateways. Only then it is possible to implement further services, for example an automated image disribution. All images that support the manufacturer-independent standard DICOM can be processed. The following DICOM fields are of particular importance:
- The patient ID (DICOM field 10,20) must include the so-called radiologist prefix, which ensures the uniqueness of the patient ID. This prevents mixing of the patients.
- The same applies to the fields Accession Nbr (DICOM field 8, 50) and Request ID (DICOM field 40, 1001). Both IDs are used to identify the examination.
- The allocator must also be visible from the screen (DICOM field 8, 90 - Content: Contract Part Number) - ensures access for the allocator.
- The "producer" should also appear in the picture (DICOM field 8, 80) if this information is not contained in the pictures, these can still be archived. It is guaranteed that the images do not get into the wrong hands, but in order to ensure correct access, administrative activities are indispensable.
